About Meadering Bard, LLC

When I went to college, I was a journalism major. I switched to an English major my junior year, intending to work in publishing or screenwriting–at that time, writing a script for M*A*S*H was a not-so-secret goal. My favorite jobs ever included my grad school fellowship when I edited a journal about children’s literature and doing Lima Senior’s yearbook for a dozen years.

Then life happened, and I ended up in an English classroom for 29 years. Although there were definite high points in my life as a teacher, the dozen years I spent as the yearbook advisor were my favorite part of the job.

Retiring gives me the time to do what I enjoyed most professionally. I’m designing web sites, writing newsletters, coaching people in a variety of topics (tech, retirement transition, and creative process, mainly so far), and working on my own writing projects.

Meandering Bard LLC is my umbrella company for all those enterprises.

Since retiring, I’ve visited interesting places (above, a lighthouse in Delaware) and wandered in nature (right, Ash Cave at Hocking Hills) and had all sorts of other adventures.
